Hi, my name is Samantha Crystal I'm 15 years old and a student in 10th grade at the Hewitt school. I have had experience tutoring for over three years with both high school friends and middle school students. Along with tutoring, I often do homework helping and general course assistance, which I hope to continue doing this school year. One of the things I value when I help students with their homework, is not only making sure they get the correct answers but also ensuring they understand the process of how they got them. This concept is something I incorporate when I help students with their homework to make the most of our time and further their capabilities. Beyond tutoring, I have had experience babysitting, which has helped me to understand and empathize with kids. I know how stressful homework can be, especially when it is hard to understand, so I try my best to be patient and understanding when helping students. However, I am also aware our time is valuable, so I always reach out to clients to understand each student's specific needs to maximize our time together. In addition to my prior experiences, I also take advanced mathematics and extended English courses, giving me more knowledge in both subjects. I am confident that with my background and advanced knowledge, I will be able to aid students and be a helpful asset for this school year.
