Hi! My name is Natalie and I am currently an 11th grader attending the Dwight School. I have always loved being around kids, especially when I can inspire and teach them in fun ways. I am an extensive reader and have been since I was very young. I read a variety of books and have gained skills in analysis as well as reading comprehension. I also have extensive experience with teaching young kids who may get frustrated by work as I have a young 7-year-old sister. Some of the ways I can help your child work through their troubles when reading is by practicing with small passages. Growing up, I learned how to read from leveled books that targeted my reading skill. I will also thoroughly go through the passage with them and ask questions during and after to make sure they understand the meaning. I know reading can be tough and kids can often feel defeated, but I promise that having someone supporting them by their side will make it better!
