Hi! My name is Maeve Goldman and I am a current Junior at the Horace Mann School in the Bronx. I have around three years of teaching experience both coaching and tutoring elementary, middle school, and high school students in competitive debate in New York and Bergen County. My students have all walked away with sharper analytical, logical, and research-based skills, while I have learned how to curate an environment most conducive to learning and fun. Building off past experience, I will dedicate thorough time and energy towards preparing sessions tailored specifically to your student's individual needs. Some activities I am excited to incorporate into sessions are passage summaries, reading comprehension questions, and targeted vocab games. I am extremely open to communicating with you to ensure my sessions are the best fit possible for your child's success. I can’t wait to start working with new students and watch them gain lifelong confidence in reading and writing!
