Hi, my name is Maeve Goldman and I am a current junior at the Horace Mann School in the Bronx. I have around three years of teaching experience as I have both coached and tutored elementary, middle school, and high school students in competitive debate in New York and Bergen County. My students have all walked away with sharper analytical, logical, and research based skills, while I have learned how to curate an environment most conducive to learning and fun. Building off past experience, I will dedicate thorough time and energy towards preparing sessions tailored specifically to your students' individual needs. During homework help sessions I will work with your child closely to ensure they are both comprehending how to answer questions while turning in accurate work. This will take shape through mini lessons to review the material the homework is based on and extra questions at the end of the session to ensure they have mastered the material. I am also extremely open to communicating with you to ensure my sessions are the best fit for your child’s success. I am incredibly excited to start working with new students and watch them fulfill their goals academically!
