Hello! My name is Farhan Rafat, and I am currently a senior at Horace Mann School. I have been tutoring for more than 3 years and have worked with programs such as Summer on the Hill and at tutoring centers. I have had various amazing mentors and tutors throughout my life, I plan to use that experience to create the best environment for students to learn. Time management is one of the most important skills for any student. It can be very difficult to make time to do your homework properly, especially if it is challenging. I myself have had to learn this during my time at Horace Mann. It can be very beneficial to receive some help while doing it. By allocating time in the day for students to focus on their homework and receive assistance when needed, not only can students get their work in in a timely manner, but I can help them hone their skills and set them up to be able to do similar work fluently alone as well.
