Hello! My name is Daniel Levey and I am a Junior at Riverdale Country School. I am a qualified tutor due to years of prior experience tutoring kids of all ages. I am also a dedicated learner, and whenever an Honors class has been made available for me, I have not only taken it but excelled in it. Over the past few summers, I have volunteered to tutor many underprivileged children between the ages of 5 and 13 who fell behind in school during the previous year in order to help them get back on track. I have also tutored other middle school students in NYC on different math subjects. When tutoring, I plan lessons in advance using google slides and use resources including IXL to help me find example problems. I can also make practice tests/quizzes to help prepare your child for an upcoming assessment. Furthermore, I know that everyone learns differently and because of this, I am able to adapt lessons during them if my student is struggling or finding it too easy.
