Hi! My name is Batool Naqvi and I am a current first-year student in the Masters of Science in Bioethics at Columbia University. I recently graduated from Quinnipiac University Magna Cum Laude from the University Honors Program with a degree in Health Science with minors in Biology, Chemistry, and Sociology. I am currently in the process of applying to medical school and am therefore well-versed in higher-level mathematics. I have taken and performed well in Biostatistics and Calculus, and therefore am well-versed in Algebraic techniques. I plan on using visuals and worksheets to reinforce the main components of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, including mental math techniques and tricks to make understanding math a little bit easier. I have had tons of experience in tutoring, and I believe my style of tutoring is patient, empathetic, and resilient. I plan to create tutoring plans from scratch designed individually for each child taking into consideration their learning style, specific needs, and interests.
