Hi, I'm Aislinn and I am currently a junior at the High School of American Studies at Lehman college. Although I would consider myself a well rounded student, I have always greatly enjoyed and excelled in my English and humanities classes throughout the years. This, along with my past experience of babysitting for the past four years, has given me the skills to work as a reading tutor with elementary aged students. I'm an energetic person that can bring fun activities to each tutoring session while also ensuring that the student is able to focus and reach their goals. I understand that no two kids are the same and that each individual child may need a different approach for their lessons. By observing the skills that the student has prior to the lesson as well as keeping in touch with you, the parent, I can discern what the child needs help with and create a plan of action. Overall, I have a great fondness for reading, and I believe that every kid should have the skills to not only read, but enjoy it! I hope I can be of service and look forward to working with your children!
